Van Der Valk Hotel Eindhoven, Eindhoven

The hotel had all we needed with a very comfortable bed and nice bathroom, but it's time to replace the carpets. Unfortunately, the room was situated in the old part of the building, and it had a lingering smell of smoke.

I recently stayed at the hotel and had a mixed experience. The lack of air-conditioning in the room made it a little warm at night, but on the bright side, the room had a nice balcony to enjoy the view. The service was obviously lacking as my problems were not addressed promptly, although the staff was helpful during my stay, which was a plus as I was making a stop on my journey. The location was convenient for the event I was attending, but not ideal for everyday guests. The dining experience was exceptional, especially given the current situation, and the facilities met my expectations.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious and comfy rooms, even though some furniture looked a bit tired. The complimentary coffee, shower/bath products, and hairdryer were a nice touch. However, the service left much to be desired with a lack of helpfulness and efficiency. The hotel's location was convenient for our needs, but not without its drawbacks like proximity to ventilation facilities. Dining was exceptional, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The facilities were adequate, but nothing extraordinary stood out.
